When can I see the Podiatrist?

Joseph Frenkel consults at Inkerman Medical Group on Monday to Friday and at the Skin Health Institute monthly on Wednesdays.

For all appointments please phone (03) 9527 4355 or book online.
Home visits are also available in selected areas.

How are Podiatrists different to other medical specialties?

Podiatrists are foot, ankle and lower limb specialists who can assess, treat and manage most foot and lower limb conditions. Podiatrists are University educated including extensive training in relevant medical subjects.

Podiatrists are able to refer for diagnostic imaging, treat acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries, perform minor surgical procedures, manage complex wounds and prescribe certain drugs and customised orthotics.

You can rest assured that our clinic operates under strict infection control and hygiene measures.

For the items and tools used during treatment that are not single-use, we clean, bag and use an autoclave to sterilise our tools at high temperature.
